X-01 armor , is it only level 40 crafted?

I am level 98
Have completed the quest line and have prototype armor plans for the X-01 set but I can only craft level 40
Do I need perks slotted to craft level 50, I cant see any information?
* Also I play in Ultra Wide and this has caused my problems not seeing options at the very bottom of terminal screens etc

X-01 shouldn't have any perk reqs, just crafted my suit for the Nuka-Quantum paintjob a couple weeks ago and all parts were craftable to 50. Do you have the entire set plans? Logging out and in can fix it, sometimes having other armors/parts in your inventory or equipped to the armor can bug it and removing/replacing them can fix it. Hope you find a fix, X-01 is good stuff

hmm i am wearing full set of T-51b I found, ive only been using that the entire game .
My craft table seems to only give me the level 40 option.
I also returned to the Enclave and clicked on the plans terminal twice, still only level 40.
Should I just craft a piece and see what happens?
Is X-01 better than T51b?

Ok that worked.
Crafted a helm now can do all level 50 gear.
Are there mods for it?
I only have paints and headlight for helmet

Awesome! Yeah, you can get mods for it from the armory terminals where MODUS is, they're costly but are worth it. X-01 is among one of the best suits in the game, if I remember right, great defenses and rad resistance

Could I bother you for some build ideas?
I have looted weapons:
*Bug Buster plasma rifle
*Plasma caster ~ vampire mod
*Vampire chainsaw

Currently running heavy weapons, using X-01 armor
I do like rifle but also plasma caster but just looted a Tesla rifle
I just hit level 100
For leveling setup what would you go with ?
Whats best exp perk card to use, I always join a casual group when I log in
