"AAA-AA-FFr", I have no idea about the first three A's, but assume this is "Triple A class" but not sure (Could also be to just have it at the top of the list in their inventory), after that definitely "Anti-Armor" and "Faster Fire Rate".
The "Q" is likely "Quad" for 4 times the ammo per reload.
About stability / recoil with heavy guns, power armor together with the "Stabilized" perk do a lot for that.
I have stabilized perk at max and using power armor but I only felt few difference without it.
The game does change the name of the weapon when you mod it, unless you have given it a name yourself. Some people use those names as a way to sort their weapons. I always put a mark before the name of things I want to keep, so I don't accidentally get rid of them.
