you do know that all the fallout games and the show is considered cannon right ??? todd howard said himself in a interview so that means all the pa's we saw so far are legit t45 is literally the first power armor developed by west tek witch makes it the least advanced one
The two least-believable scenes from the Fallout Series were seeing maximus in T65, and the Goul's plot armor when he fights the brotherhood.
again you do realize that maximus is a mere squire ?? he had worn the power armor for the first time no training nothing on the other hand the ghoul is over 200 years old and before the apocalypse he fought in the us/china alaska war with the t-45 power armor so he knew the armor's weakness and took care maximus in minutes did you watch the show with your a$$ instead your eyes ????
It was the second-most unrealistic fight in fallout history besides The Goul fighting multiple brotherhood at once.
Second place would be X-01 since it was a prototype model that was designed in the very late days of the Sino-American War by members who would eventually become the Enclave.
After that I would argue is the T-51b model.
T-45 was the first released design that took 45 iterations, had some defects and flaws, was only produced and rolled out, to shift the balance of power during the Sino-American War.
T-51 series was the pinnacle of mechanized protection before the Great War, the armor provided a valuable balance of protection and mobility. The newly equipped units proved incredibly effective against People's Liberation Army forces, and were instrumental to the success of Battle of Anchorage.
T-60 was developed in secret quiet testing between the government and West Tek, as part of its long-standing defense contract, the T-60 entered service after the conclusion of the Battle of Anchorage, mere months before the nuclear apocalypse.
Ultracite was developed by the Brotherhood of Steel after the Great War as an attempt to take advantage of the anti-Scorched properties of ultracite. The use of ultracite as a key material for the armor also allowed for additional armor plating and radiation shielding, at the cost of increased strain on the suit's cooling systems, which led it to be prone to leaking coolant.
Strangler Heart was developed in secret at the research facility inside of Vault 94. The power armor has identical damage resistance and energy resistance to standard ultracite armor. It does have significantly higher rad resistance, has been completely overrun by strangler vines and other flora that was said to be lost after the explosion and core meltdown of Vault 94's G.E.C.K.
T-65 existed on paper but was never produced prior to the bombs. It was primarily utilized by Secret Service in Vault 79. The armor offers the highest physical and energy resistances out of any power armor in Fallout 76. It provides the second-highest protection against radiation.
EXC-17 Excavator developed by Garrahan Mining Co., the EXC-17 suit was designed to protect miners from rockfalls and airborne contaminants while increasing the speed at which they could work. Although it had never reached full commercial production, the unit garnered fame during an ad campaign in which it was marketed as the future of Appalachian mining, appealing to anti-automation mining teams and other prospective clients.
Hellcat was meant to be use only by the Hellcat Company, a mercenary outfit with operations in Appalachia and the Pitt. Hellcat offers a direct incoming ballistic damage reduction. As such, while it has a nominally lower ballistic damage resistance than other sets, it performs better than them, thanks to reducing incoming damage.
Union was a post-war model of power armor, created by the Pittsburgh Union using the surviving facilities of The Pitt.
Prototype X-01 production began shortly before the Great War. Although the suit was technically functional by late 2077, it was burdened with numerous issues that precluded widespread use in the field.
Black Devil X-02 was specially developed by the Enclave for their army, the suit includes lightweight composites to give it additional speed and agility compared to the X-01.
Hellfire X-03 according to the lore of the games, was the most advanced Power Armor developed by the Enclave in Fallout 76, this suit of armor is a combination of pre-War and post-War research. This armor is equal to the T-51b power armor (but not the winterized version. In contrast to the T-51b, which is limited to merchant repair, the X-03 armor can be repaired with other sets of Hellfire armor. This advantage alone may make it a better choice.
