'Exceeds maximum build count'

Bought the new camp item to produce oil...but I can't place it. Plenty of budget space yet; info on the net suggests it does not share a slot with any other item. I even tried removing other camp items...no joy. Any thoughts?

Don't believe everything you read on the net.

What other resource it shares a slot with may or may not be one that produces oil.

Edit; What does it say in the top right build count limit? 1/? - 0/?

It's because you have a Firewood Pile. Knocks heads with it. After checking all 8 camps on one of my toons I found this out.

Took one camp down to nothing but my Ally. Put one thing in at a time. When I put it Mr. Noodling the firewood was blocked out. 97 more camps to go.

must be a bug though right? no way oil and nuclear relates to wood?

Is there an oil node in your camp?

Nope, just went to 11 more camps and removed Woodpile and put in the Noodling . 86 more to go. Got to give up the wood. Don't need oil Node-can even just drop it on the floor of the building. Put one in my tree house camp.

Plenty of wood to be had. Oil is a little harder to come by.

Yep, it's a 'bug'... The current group of devs can't really create anything new. All they can do is copy/paste older items already in game.

Due to poor understanding of the interactions of older items you'll see these 'bugs' pop up often... It's really symptomatic of a badly skilled and managed dev team.
