[SPOILER] Is there any way to reset a quest in this game?

So my dumbass went into the cave for Oldest Trick In The Book in the disguise but also in my power armor and I wanted to do the quest the non-violent way, am I just ♥♥♥♥♥♥? Or is there some way/period of time I can wait to reset it.

I had trouble with this. Like you, I had the disguise but was in power armor. I immediately killed everyone in sight. Then I couldn't progress. I later revisited the cave and was able to finish. I don't remember specifics of what was hung up but I do know I returned later and was able to complete it.

I'm able to progress but I do not want to do the murder version of the quest, is there a way to get the cultist disguise to respawn after it disappears from your inventory?

Once you have hit a checkpoint, you most likely cannot reset it.

No. First checkpoint is as soon as you walk inside, so if you were wearing your PA instead of the disguise, yup, you made a mistake that can not be reconciled.

That said, you can always make another character some day and do things differently. Infact, if you want all the trophies, you have to do at least 2.

All the 'correct' passive way does is waste time.

I'm gonna take you at your word, I was just hoping to spare alex because I agree with him but if there's no choice at the end I'll just do the Heavy Gunnery Special

Game won't let you wear both disguise and PA same time. Go back outside take PA off and find disguise again put it on and do quest like it tells you to do.

Alex is a she and is absolutely insane. It is only right to kill her and all the cultists. It's what the brotherhood would want you to do.

Alex is kinda just correct tho, ♥♥♥♥ Hugo and also I support women's wrongs as well as women's rights.
