Overseer Logs and Personal Logs

My world challenges have glitched, the ones that says to find the logs associated with both different challenges. I instead found some logs in a donations box that someone else dropped and it wouldn't complete my challenges. I have tried to go to the asylum in Fort Defiance but the log does not show up, and I completed my side quest?
