The best camp location would be in the Whitespring area or across from the station.
These two places can sell legendary weapons or ordinary weapons faster.

There are also robot guards in the White Spring area.

If I hover my pointer over a camp and it says they have 5 3 star weapons for sale, and a good number of plans, I'm more than likely going to check it out, regardless of where the camp is located. If it's just a couple of plans and a single or couple of 1-2 star weapons, I'm going to likely pass on visiting. Some might make location a priority, but some of us really don't care. My CAMP gets placed according to nearby resource dumps.
100%, and I’ll go further and say that camp location being near Whitesprings has no bearing on quality-of-life for the owner, either.

Since both WS and the new Trading Post in Skyline are free FT points, and both have access to every resource point except your Vending Machine, it doesn’t matter where you are.

If I’m collecting scrip and T-notes for the next day, and am maxed on NPC vendor caps, I use my camp as launching point for Events, Expeditions and Daily Ops. If I’m not at the caps yet, I use WS or TP as my launching point.

When I come back with (or roll) something I want to sell, my camp is always free FT.

Build your camp wherever you think is cool; preferably a place that doesn’t get nuked a lot and isn’t overly congested.

That said- I’m a little nervous about this week. My camp is kinda near Helvetia and, if the neck-breathers who built their camps near Grahm’s cookout for meat weak are any indicator, I’m probably going to have an increase in Camp-Can’t-Be-Placed notices this week.
I never considered building close to an event. I always just FT to the events and again FT to White Springs to breakdown/sell/whatever while I wait for the next event. My favorite spot is the farm just to the NW of Vault 76. Nice little junk pile and the farm crops, while not much, keep me in decent supply of cooking mats for early xp gains. Glad you responded. I haven't been playing long, and at lvl 65, it's good to know some of these things.

Robot guards that can't kill scorched and turn hostile on me if I try to help them for some reason. :VGRUMPY:

My base is in the cranberry bog. Next to Watoga. Can´t complain about not enough players coming to my vendor.

Every camp near a location where players regulary go anyways, like trainstations in my case, is good.

Also if i am looking to buy something, i don´t care about where your camp is. I will visit all of them.

My camp is in front of wayward. Can easily help players with what i have in my base or scare them when shooting at them with explosive weapons when i feel like it. :winter2019joyfultearssnowman:
Tho right now i have so many 3 star legendaries at 300 each and no one is coming when i really need to get rid of it.

It’s the best place if you want your camp blocked 75% of the time.

Spitting facts. Location does not matter.

Well logically it kinda does. If a camp is near a building that is being used more often, a lot of players WILL swing by and check whats in your vendor and then go to whitespring or the other way around.

Humans are illogical creatures.

So yes. If I'm looking for something - I'll visit all the camps that might have it (according preview of item types on the map icon). Regardless of where these camps are located. Same as any other person looking for something would do as well.

It's that simple.

You'd think that would be the case, but in my experience it's really not. I get more traffic in my camps that are in what I consider "out of the way" locations than I do with the one I've built right next to the Wayward.

Even if its not your case, its still logical. Even if theres a small increase in visits, its still better than having camp in a place that isnt visited much.

So if you want to stand by what you said then so be it, but its not the truth.
That is also why people with serums camp near whitespring a lot and sell it at slightly cheaper price, because of high traffic.

If you can't afford the caps to FT to my CAMP in the Bogs, then you can't afford to shop at my vendor.

Wayward it is actualy BEST and WORST spot for camp in F76 for me :D

why Best - coze "all" new players come there and u can suprise them with free Outfit gift :D also NUKES cant be droped there and u have NPC in the Wayward bulding

why Worst - u have to reload game couple of time before u camp isnt blocked by some1 else camp :P

Overall i prefer to see more ppl in my camp thats why i love Wayward position <3

Yeah i know, but so far i have been lucky. Only twice this week i had to reload at least 4 times before i got my spot.
IceMan PJN Jun 24, 2024 @ 11:34am
This sort of reasoning is, I presume, why there's often half a dozen camps clustered there. Then you get people complaining when they can't load their camp there, because one in four players has a camp there.

I had some enemy come in (I forget what it was) and I killed it, but I have a perk that makes them explode. Suddenly all the Whitesprings robots were after me. I assume the explosion hurt a robot which then triggered them against me.
