Dodgy Perk

quick question for full health power armor players. Do you think dodgy is worth it? I was thinking of swapping it with trough hiker for QoL and also a point of Born Survivor

I use both with my full health, heavy gunner, t-65 all decked out. Works fine keeping me alive :)

Nothing wrong with just using what you feel works for you. If i was using food buffs a lot though i would not be picking dodgy over thru hiker as that is far more important to me. Only you know how much you use or value food buffs.

In PA it's useful as you don't really use your AP for anything else.

Think of it like a mana shield in other games. It reduces all hits by 30% if you have AP.

There is a catch. Each piece of PA armour reduces damage by 7% for a max of 42% with a full set. That 30% is from the remaining 58%, or 17.4% extra reduction.

If you've combined it with other reduction effects such as the Hellcat ballistic or Blocker for melee the amount reduced is even less.

But as I said earlier, what else are you using the AP for?

If you are using a non-vats build then dodgy is great.

Dodgy on a fully health pa build is a bit overkill. would use the points for something else.

Just FYI; If you use Melee weapons, you want to remove Dodgy while using them. It Zaps your AP fast!

I always find AP in far to short supply when I need it for this perk even with the perk card and company tea.

I had a glaring issue about it when I wanted to incorporate auto axe to my heavy gun build.

It's also a question of whether or not you use VATS. If you're a VATS user, don't use Dodgy. You'll never have enough AP for more than one shot.
