Is a Bloodied explosive Dragon (rifle) good for anything?
Taking out bosses, pvp or something else?

With the right build and this weapon, you can one shot pretty much everyone in PvP, even with a body shot. It's alright for PvE, if you don't mind the reload speed. Big question is if the weapon is legacy or not. Legacy has 419 range. If it has less, it's not legacy. If it is a legacy, it's worth a lot.

That would have the halved range, then. Still what it is for PvP; Assassin's hellcat may do the trick against it. Haven't tested yet, though.

The Dragon only shines in PvP

what you WANT is a

Legacy Two Shot Explosive (20%)
This will do 1100 damage to players (110 [which is the pvp single shot damage cap] x 5 x 2) with a head critical which forces enemies in pvp to be in stealth

The next best is
Two Shot Explosive (3%)
This will also almost certainly do 1100 damage to players with a vats critical, but its not as generous with the absolute certainty

In PvP... especially noob PvP (where the enemy allows you to use vats) you are not going to want to be bloodied... especially with the recent cryo buff

Now for PvE the gun is garbage boasting one of the lowest DPS in the game with pretty slow single target hit damage to boot... its neat but its not effective

[in the past, exploiters would use the ammo glitch to get dragons to shoot 1000x in a single shot... the glitch WAS so easy to do MOST people often did it by accident, swapping from a high ammo weapon to a low one while doing a common thing could OFTEN give the low one the high ones ammo clip [think fixer with 400 rounds instead of 20 before needing to reload) that with a bloodied dragon would one hit kill a flying queen... ttbomk all ammo glitches are patched]... the dragon was a single shot weapon coded to fire all its ammo and reload so it hit like a mule with this bug and a 1000+ round swapped weapon

As such the bloodied regular dragon is functionally just script
