Best armor for a stealth sniper build?

What would be the best armor? I would assume that Chinese Stealth Armor would be. But I don't want to craft it if I cannot have cosmetic armor over it. If not the CSA, what would it be?

Well it's not complete stealth but what I do it put my agility at 15, take a mutation serum which raises agility 4 points and start upgrading legendary perk card for agility. As I say it's not stealth but staying crouched I walk by most things and still stayi "Hidden" Agility goes with stealth.

I don't where anything that adds to stealth armor, just secret service and not shadowed.

yeah my agility is maxed out so its good with that just need a good armor set with it.

Thorn armor would be my best guess but others would probably know more.

if you don't want to use chinese stealth armor here are some other options
Thorn armor
Shadowed and muffled leather armor

other less successful options
Garb of Mysteries with the eye of raw.
Covert scout armor
Shrouded wood armor
Muffled brotherhood recon armor (Only works on legs)

you may also use full unyeilding armor if you want, but your build must be bloodied. I have 3 pieces secret service unyeilding armor and the other two with bolstering legendary mod and I am never detected whenever I sneak, is worth mentioning that thanks to this 3 pieces of armor I have 28 agility points on my special.

Chinese stealth armour provides pretty high sneak
Unyielding armour provides just as high or slightly higher sneak

unyielding also gives a TON of other benefits, has legendary effects, can be modded for other bonuses

I run unyielding with 2 in sneak (overkill) and I can still run laps around enemies after shooting their buddy in the face with an explosive two shot mirv and they are like someones here... but have no idea where

I agree with you, I think if you are looking for sneak unyielding is you best choice, it’s worth the grind, also it provides a ton of benefits.
