i had ton's of tickets that i was saving for the bonus page (thought i had at least one more week / there would be some kind of reminder in game). went to work this morning, come back to maintenance (tuesday, it's ok) but yeah, i'm not a forum / social media / discord dweller. i had no idea it was ending today and i guess it cucked me of the tickets they didn't let me use... saying i'm salty is an understatement

players should not have to look up basic information on secondary (to the game) platforms. there were no official posts in-game, on steam forums, or in Xbox. There were posts on Steam a week before season's end in the past - it's called game as a service for a reason

if your first question is "how did you miss it" and not "why didnt they do what they should", that means you got too used to indifferent treatment

haha, trying to make it a user problem ? nah, Bethesda did us dirty. i'm not continuing to reply to people saying that i had to dig trough several unofficial sources to get a date Bethesda didn't bother to give in game or even on the official news page (on the 7th of june there was no information whatsoever) .

You've have to be autistic and checking their page everyday because it was not announced until very recently. They also didnt bother to update it ingame. Not hard to change a splash at all. Dont defend this kind of stuff

They literally only announced it Sunday I think. You'd have to be compulsively looking up the end date over and over because we only got about three days notice. It wasn't even included on the Xbox Showcase, it was shared through their social channels.

They should have told the community the board was ending weeks in advance, and OP is right it should have been in game.

people pick up on patterns, is not hard to find out when a season ends. theres always a set timeline for how long a eason goes, nit just Bethesda going "ill endit when i feel like it"

the announcement was that the new season would start WITH the 'map expansion', so that would mean that the previous season would have to end WITH the 'map expansion'

Nnnno. It was on the roadmap. Skyline Valley, June 12th, very clearly in a different portion of the Roadmap from the 'Duel with the Devil' portion, which itself was separated from the previous seasons.

Huge content update dropping on the 12th, no Tuesday atom shop roll-over, and y'all still say it wasn't announced.

It was announced, well in advanced. You are correct in that a splash card with news wouldn't go amiss, though. No arguments there.
