Hunters Longcoat and tattered field jacket

i guess i understand why the long coat is a rarity but the field jacket?? why tho

ive been trying to find the long coast via anchor farm, camp venture, Charleston station, and Lost home but it's always blood eagles or wolves or some other useless encounter.

Hunter's longcoat isn't any rare and u can find it for 8-10k caps sometimes at player vendors. Tattered field jacket/leather coat/traveling leather coat/whitepowder and bos jumpsuits/etc are on entirely different level due to super minuscule drop rate

The trick is to not want it or care but casually fast travel to Charleston Station on occassion to sell at the vendor and if the Event with Vendor Bot happens to appear and have the longcoat, meh... guess buy it. That's how I got mine, put it on, jumped back in my PA...

I checked the trade server and the field jacket is something like 1.2 million caps...

Yeah it's dumb, the hood is a guaranteed drop and ONLY fits that outfit but the outfit is more rare then unicorn blood... And most people don't even like how it looks, I bet you some noob picked it up in his first week then threw it away cause he didn't like how it looked.
