But... um... yeah... a LOT of issues with that. If it doesn't at least come with some prejudices (just look under Dwyer Chemicals)... do I dare say woke?
That, as I said in another thread, you can only access if you are ghoul?
This whole thing seems hype-cash-in-y to me, I can see no logical reason to bring in new perk cards and whole new build systems but only if you go for ghoul.
I love Harold and all, but why would I want to be him?
To get with Penelope Hornwright?
It'll bring me back. I think it'll be fine to poke around at new build options.
It'll work with people shooting at you.
May even add a faction or two that are hostile to non-ghoul players.
Maybe I'll finally get Penelope Hornwright as a camp ally.
That is probably the main fear. These old diabetics on top will cry and scream so they can freely change the perk cards around and end up making any future feature to the game extremely diluted.
Just by their existence (and what they are expected to do) alone.
EDIT: And if you think they and their actions don't need to be considered...the shutins are an extereme vocal majority here.
"Milking the cow" is when you add features that the players want. Makes sense.
So.. it's really strange. Unless they really created completely new unique cards that only ghouls can have. But.. it's not like we need new survivability perks in Endurance.

You COULD permanently become a super mutant
You COULD permanently become a mole man
Both of these had planned bonuses, drawbacks, and story changes
Seems like they are just going to make it so you
CAN permanently become a Ghoul
Probably with bonuses and drawbacks...
probably going to be something along the lines of oh you are bloodied, enjoy looking like a zombie as a way to mitigate that playstyle
