Is there an easier or another way to rank up rep with Raiders & Settlers, besides hopping lobbies looking for Moonshine Jamboree and/or Eviction Notice? I play on Steam Deck and notice that if I switch lobbies or fast travel alot, it freezes or the FPS makes my character uncontrollable. Thanks

No. The events Eviction notice and Moonshine Jamboree :
first : can happen several time a day
second : gime more reputation than daily quests

Back in the day, when this events didn't exist, things were less easy.

So it was farm daily quests at fundation and crater, give mirluck meat to the outpost at the west (crater) and do the daily with the photo.

You are really lucky to mount reputations now and not by the past.

When the fallout show come out, I came back on FO76 and began a new character. It took me (at least) ten less time to max out the 2 reputations...

Well, faction daily quests give rep, you can give Davenport's photos to rivaling faction for some extra, you can get some raider rep from Ohio River Adventure's daily quest, while doing Rocksy's daily you can convince the former raider to move to Foundation for some extra Foundation rep. Also there are random encounter spots around the map that can spawn group of raiders or settlers fighting some enemies (or each other), you get rep from helping them.

Thanks I keep forgetting about the daily quests. I've already maxed out on my first toon last year. I did that by hitting loads of MJ and EV before completing the heist lol Now these 2 toons did the heist and are having trouble maxing out the reps smh lol.

Don't forget Davenport too, at the Overseer's house. And do your Refuge dailies too. While it's only Esme's that matters in this case, they all give treasury notes and you won't get a new one unless you finish whats in your log.

Getting to max reputation for two factions is the most painful, grindiest grinding I've experienced in this game. By the time I finished, I was afraid I might've turned into a vegetable, or at least started hearing "Finally someone with the guts to help!" in my dreams every night. And the payoff wasn't that great either: I could count on one hand the things from Ally status that ended up being useful to me. New players considering doing the grind should really know what the payoff is: see how many of the Ally status items on this list that you really need: https://fallout.fandom.com/wiki/Fallout_76_reputations
