Double gold weekend isn't working

You're supposed to be able to turn in 80 treasury notes to get 800 gold per day during this event, but it isn't working. Two days in a row, the limit has only been 40.

My weekend is from Monday to Next Monday. Or maybe Sunday to Monday but I don't remember after all these years. Most of my weekends were and still are kinda fuzzy.

Like OP I too failed to read the fine print and dumped off some Treasury Notes last night and was like "Hey, I thought it was supposed to be double payout". Then I logged off to the main menu for dinner and when I came back on I saw it begins on the 6th. Oh well, Not like I have trouble earning Treasury Notes. But I'm still hoarding them until tomorrow lol.

Unfortunately that’s not how double gold weekends work, you don’t get twice as much gold for each treasury note you redeem, you can simply redeem twice as many notes (80 instead of 40). This is mainly useful for players who have hundreds or thousands of unclaimed treasury notes.

Some of us do have thousands of T-notes, but there isn't anything left to buy with gold bullion. Now, if we could trade gold bullion for stamps or atoms......

Vendor, Scrip and Bullion reset time is at 1:00 pm Eastern Daylight Time (Summer months)

And 12:00 pm(Noon) Eastern Standard Time (Winter months)

You don't have to do the main quest to start saving now-Every main event you went to may have given you some already=Gonna need them.
