Yeah I heard some cosmetics are crazy rare, but that still ain’t gonna stop me asking around since if someone has the outfit then someone must have a helmet too!

I had a complete outfit but it was given away; I'm not a first responder but some do play. They earned that outfit while I did not; If I have it I give it away since it's not mine to start with. Just my personal feelings and gratitude that hold over from real life

What’s not normal? I’m just hoping to get the complete outfit via trade or exchange of caps, I like to use faction outfits if I’m a part of them and the responders firefighter suit variant looks pretty cool.

Free stuff rare plans. Situationally, and because in general I'm a lunatic for ethics you're golden. It's a good spot for community interaction at the moment, but things that have happened will prevent a lot of players that normally would help you from doing so. In the past the 76 has had issues with injected (hacked) items given out freely to players, AFK traders that have multiple games going and multiple copies of pretty much anything - and of course scalpers who will definitely overcharge you. A few seniors and some golden staff members who remain unnamed have made it much more functional.

Do look out for Ronr42s give aways. Someone got super salty at the one-before-last because he didn't get the stuff he wanted and Ronr wasn't free to play with him when the guy wanted, so Ronr's been a little more scarce. That is genuinely your best bet to get one since he's actively looking for the hat he may end up with a couple.

Other than that put a thread up on the trade forum. Often times some folks will report a trade thread purely to have it moved to that forum. I'll keep an eye out for you.

Oh well I mean I’m happy to pay for the helmet, I got caps. But I understand I’m not asking for free stuff but if it is given away freely I ain’t complaining.

Are you at least farming for it? I mean there are alot of place to farm, and everytime there are at least one or two event happening in the florest/toxic and enclave event

Yeah it's the white one, and tbh I haven't because I've been busy with loads of other stuff (nor know where it even drops from), but I got carpal tunnel in my hand recently so only come on for a short time to do daily challenges anyway.
