Is this game worth getting?
I know on release this was a mess, is it still in that state? Just trying to find new games to play co-op with friends.

It is pretty enjoyable both alone and with friends in my opinion. Just remember to buy it on sale or get a key on cdkeys for $9 or so, always best to save a quick buck whenever you can in this economy.

yes i quit at the same time as well but its so fun now
Do play the game since day 1 (with some breaks in between) never ever hated the game, the game has improved A LOT and for the better. But all depends on who you ask it, you have people that hate the game (some of them still play the game) and people like myself who still enjoy it every single day.

There are a lot of people that has no sub at all and enoying every bit of it, I have a sub caus i like farming and grinding but thats personal.

Just buy the game when it's on a discount or so then you can judge by your self.

You know we can't answer that question, OP. Knowing next to nothing about you or your friends, it would like you asking me to recommend a restaurant!

"What kind of food do you like!?!"

And I'm not sure it's all that fun to just "hop into," which I get the sense is what you're looking for. For example : I had a hard time until I learned to synergize my weapons and my perks, and just futzing around gave me grief!

For me (only for me!) it's the best gaming value of the last year or so - and would still be so at the regular price (which I did not pay : I got it deeply discounted.)

I've got 180 hours played and expect at least 100 more, all without Fallout1st. That's not me opining whether Fallout1st is "good" or "bad" - I'm just saying I haven't used it or felt the need to get it.

Now I'm prepared for torches and pitchforks but FOR ME, solo'ing across Appalachia is the closest I have gotten to that feeling of desolation and isolation I experienced way back when I played FALLOUT. The first one.

I've expanded on other aspects of my experience playing the game all over these boards - peeps here must be getting sick o' me ha-ha-ha! - so I'll leave you with this : I was told FALLOUT76 was so bad it would give me cancer AND premature baldness. I discovered a game which was not only very, very good but almost fine enough to make me forgive STARFIELD!

Almost . . .
