My thoughts:
1) Ticket prices listed on the screens are placeholders. Given how the ticket cost for certain items varies from screen to screen.
2) Screen 13 which shows rank 150, is a rolling bonus screen. Every 10 levels it just resets. Similar to how the rank 100 icon on the current board goes from being rank 100 with its rewards to click and receive the rewards for the next rank. Clicking over and over in the same spot for the subsequent rewards.
3) The ticket prices on the bonus page with the build set are either really garbage, or there is something on the pages we aren't shown to make them palatable. Doing the math on those items alone, it would require 50 levels worth of tickets to get those items.
4) Currently we get 100 rewards (plus extras for 1st) for hitting rank 100. Some being good, some being meh and then a mostly meh reward for every rank above 100. As long as we have the opportunity for a reward per rank of varying quality. We aren't losing anything.
My video is really bad anyways haha
You will never see me make a video as I HATE the way I sound. I cannot listen to recordings of myself.
Anyway, right now we have no clue which way things will turn out. Let’s just hope they take a more player centric method vs player monetization method.
Easier to do that, than fix the currently existing bugs.
I almost wonder if some of their touted bug fixes have been accidents caused when they broke something else.
We sure need more.
why;
second bonus page states that: you need to be lvl150 and must collected 95 previous rewards.
31 items for fallout 1st.
12 page 10 item each
120-31= 89 item for free players. unless they add another page, free players gets middlefinger. even than:
for 150 page you must buy all items to reach 95 collected item. this means you get 95 items ( all ever you could minus a couple maybe). you will be forced to pick good or not, trash or not: every item. for 150 levels........... versus current 100.
no lvl 100 bonus atoms. 500 atom worth. also you will miss 100 gold and 100 atom for each 10 level. 500 gold and 500 atoms.
so 1000 atoms will be wanish 500 gold vanish, also 15 launch box, 5 perk card packet, 15 scrap kit, 15 legendary module, etc. (for level between 100 and 150) we will get less than 100 reward. and forced to play 50 level more. i usually reach 150 lvl barely for a season. so no bonus page rewards for me.
unles they fix something, this new system direct thievery. and disrespectful act to playerbase.
A bit lengthy but decent watch.
most would even state they haven't been stealing from you haha
what real sus is the fact they announce the thing most commonly asked for then a few months later announce more crap no one wants like reworking the chore board the thing that is not fallout. fallout died the day the choreboard was released
Now that’s just crazy talk.
This.
While the final verdict is still out, the current information signals that this isn't going to end well.
The game was already a shameless cash grab and it's about to get worse. Not only do the signs point to the grind intensifying, but the rewards are going to be reduced.
In a way, the changes do make sense. It wouldn't be a stretch to assume anyone that still plays the game regularly is a masochist and the changes seem to embrace that.
Steal? I bought the game on a Steam sale and haven't spent a single cent since. So on a $/time ratio this is one of the cheapest games I've ever bought.
