took a whole 10 seconds to look up
FTR- wired internet, under 60 ping, no lost packets during test.
Not my ISP, it's Bethesda's borrowed servers.
there is always the chance someone duping which leads to them bogging a server down to dupe ( this is my impression of how they go about it, could be wrong , someone else like phantom may have much more insight)
their servers also just break down over time and get shut down to deploy fresh ones ( server shut down msg without a weekly reset)
Today, my main character had five waiting for server response messages, including one ON THE LOADING SCREEN!?!?! First time I have ever seen that.
I had three disconnects from server. The first was just walking around the wasteland, the second was during the 'Feed the People' event. I was disconnected during the last wave. The third disconnect was at the start of the Most Wanted event.
No point in capturing workshops- you won't be able to farm resources between server drops. No point in starting events you won't finish. Between the PA crashes/pauses (I try not to switch in/out of PA), the weapon wheel pauses and incorrectly assigned weapons on startup (I don't change any weapons assignments now), and rewarding AFK's during Fasnacht.... I must be really stupid to keep playing and being a FO1st subscriber for Bethesda's rented crap servers.
Same specs- wired ethernet, under 30 ms ping (good day), no lost packets on test.
