The show takes place in California after the events of Fallout 4 which is why people are thinking of it as Fallout 5. It has also been said the show is considered canon.
Which technically makes no sense, because Fallout 76 would have been Fallout 5. However people seem to think just because people did not like it meant it was not canon.
As for the China thing, China need to put on some big boy pants and understand it is an alternate reality.
Since I can't get Apocalyptic altered fish to catch, hunt, or eat me in these games...
Can we at least have them in the series?¿?
People will be near rivers, oceans, water filled chasms...
The fish can attack you when too close.
Sure sure mirklurks & what not.
But FISH too!!!!!
I still have my rod!
My fishing hat.
My slicker.
Waiting to fish or kill fish or be killed by fish!

With the producers saying it is FO5[www.gamesradar.com] tracks... there are so many reused assets...
As you say though, Wheel of Time, holy crap if there's a sign of brain damage happening that's it. Rings of Power I am fine with, because outside the trilogy and the hobbit I know fook all about the universe (tried reading Silmarilian when I was 12, did not complete it).
Hope man! Hope!
Maybe they will explain how the NCR fell apart after the events of FNV?🙃
However they could have been in a junkyard of old gasoline vehicles, rather than the fusion cars we see in game.
If we're going to get that picky there's an orange plastic traffic barrel form the 90s.
Ok logically... the way the Fallout universe works is technology peaked at a time of great indulgence and wealth so the world got trapped in time consuming and consuming until the need for resources spurned further development and as negative consequence, great resentment among populations unlike each other. Fallout is what-if man stopped during peak civilization and persisted until it came down to killing each other over maintaining their way of consumption. Even our characters exist to consume.. the carcass of a dead civilization.
I was just pointing out a possibility of why they looked more like 30s vehicles than the 50s vehicles. Which if they were older gas models makes perfect sense going with the lore of the franchise.
If they did, it could explain how the BOS became more powerful on the west coast.
Possibly House dominated at New Vegas, and the NCR fell apart due to the corruption they mention during FNV.
