There are roughly 20ish locations they spawn at and it's not a guarantee that they will spawn, you might just be having bad luck.
The odds are better, but Bethesda programming will always prevail.
I had a Deathclaw for like 4 months then one day I logged in and he went from moving to just falling down dead (Wasn't Attacked), I figured he had a stroke and died from a heart attack.
The point was I never bet against the betesda Bugs.. sorry, "features"
and they die far far too easy
until they are made NPC immortal like your camp allies or grahm and his smashy stick the juice just isn't worth the squeeze
He was a mean OSB but unfortunately he had a bad habit of wrecking my camp , He would
completely destroy my camp on a daily basses
Now if you build the Brahmin (forgot the dam name now)... anyways if you build the Brahmin for the camp with your pet Brahmin and play some "let's get it on" in the background, you might end up with a herd.
Congrats.
I tried it twice and nothing hapend with the creature. How does it even work?
dont forget that little bug glitch we had for a long time that players where having about not getting there camp budget back after there pet died
So some parts works some dont (for me).
