How long server maintenance usually last?

Just bought the game only to get disconnected after two minutes while I was creating my character. Lol.
Any hope the server comes back soon or does it take hours for the server maintenance usually ?

typical seasonal update is a few hours.
This might be more based off what I've read they're implementing. They might get it out by this afternoon/late morning but I'm not crossing my fingers. My guess is they're shooting for end of work time west coast hours.

Usually takes several hours. Sometimes bit longer. I'd expect downtime of 3-6 hours. They do status updates at their discord server.

Also bought this game only yesterday and created my character today, but played only few hours. Pity, I wanted to play with my friend, when he gets back from work, but it seems like not today

between 4-6 hours (usually), but we had longer.

Better to wait, they're making some changes. It might be pretty buggy for a day or two, as well, though ya never know

Not as bad as some other MMOs, I say give it around 4 hrs from the servers going off, since it is an update and not basic maintenance (Like they care about maintenance).

The best bet, try again tomorrow

https://status.bethesda.net/en you can check the status always without starting the game, my guess is in about an hour

Yep. Thanks god there was HOI4 OWB mod to keep my fallout hunter in check.
