What time does the new season release?

Just curious if there's been any word on it.

The game will be taken offline Tuesday 3/26/24 at 10am Eastern US Time. UTC-5.

While the game is down, updates will be applied to the servers.
A new client will be available for download.
Patch notes will be released.

There is no specific time announced for the game to be back online. It can be anywhere from 3-12 hours.

I was just wondering-Does everyone who is playing or downloaded fallout 76 have a Beth account. After five years it just seems funny to me that today and Tuesday we will be seeing the same Questions we see every update. Need to have a POST(THREAD) LOCKED ON THE FIRST PAGE-seems like a reasonable request after 5 years . Besides, this is first time I heard about a new update coming. Not really just wanted to say it...

Yes, and there's been a notice on the main menu right after you sign in for a few days now telling players when the new Season starts.

Average is 3:19 (3 hours 19 minutes)
Shortest was 1:34 (Update 35 on 2022-04-12)
Longest was 6:42 (Update 24 on 2020-11-24)
Times for the last three numbered updates were:
2:59 - Update 49 on 2024-01-30 (Bug Fixes)
3:00 - Update 48 on 2023-12-05 (Atlantic City / Season 15)

Bethesda has announced on their Discord server that the March 26 maintenance window will begin at 10:00 am ET (currently EDT).

You should expect the maintenance window to last until at least noon Eastern, even if they finish the update faster. They almost certainly won't bring things back online before noon Eastern to avoid potential issues with the daily/weekly challenge reset at noon.

There will be a new "Communauty Calendar" to check too, this time, for the "what happen" in Fallout 76 in the 3 upcomming months.
