i can NEVER get bethesda's password change email

so all i want to do is try to submit a ticket to bethesda to reset a bugged repeatable quest that i can no longer complete. (why can't we can't just reset THESE particular ones in the pip boy ourselves???)

however i can't submit the ticket because i don't know my current password anymore. and when i try to pick the option to receive an email to change my password, the email never comes. i have tried to change my password multiple times, on different days, but i have pretty much given up at this point.

yes, i have made sure that i enter the correct email each time. and I looked under every tab/category on my email list. i have even tried searching for the email in the searchbar.

ironically enough, i find plenty of recent emails from bethesda advertising their sales and whatnot. just never the password change email that i actually care about!

Hi, in my case this solution worked:

To complete your account verification follow these steps:
Visit https://account.bethesda.net/
Click the Help find my account link above the Sign In button
Enter the email address you entered on your device to link to Bethesda.net
Locate the verification request email in your inbox
Click the Verify Account link in that email to complete the verification and creation process
Once complete, you will be able to log into your Bethesda.net account.

It turned out that my registration was not completed, I did not have the country selected and the password set, among other things, and therefore it could not be restarted.
I created an account by adding Fallout 76 in Windows Game Pass, which is probably where the problems lie.
