2. Need to all be on friends and i believe in steam. all be on the same servers and there are zero social tools.
3. no idea 4 i think.
4. Not hard (basically a multi fallout 4.)
5. replay-ability is pretty much the exact same stories with a new character, there is a lot of content and world though.
6. yes there is almost exactly like fallout 4 yes you can share i believe.. There are instance bases as well now, no idea if they are share capable.
I mostly solo so i'm sorry if the multi aspect is not accurate.
1 - Hes not incorrect, you can solo anything, you can party anything. Much easier in groups
2 - Not difficult, all PC platforms can play with all PC platforms (steam, bethesdas, xbox for windows pc gamepass)... Consoles can only play with their own console (xbox with xbox, and I'm not even sure if ps5 can play with ps4) but thats not a PC question.
Simply send them a friend request, they send you one and inside a minute you are both added. Then just join their game or vice versa.
Communication is via mics, emotes, or adding a questional third party text chat mod
3 - Max party size is 4
4 - Starts off difficult from 1-50 the struggle is real for a lot of people, from 50+ it gets easier as you don't have to keep upgrading gear anymore, from 100+ its stable as enemies don't get stronger anymore
Having a build in mind will make the game go from moderate to easy. (as min/max tends to do for everything including dark soul style games)
5 - The story is not replayable once done, unless you make new characters. Their is a lot of content to get through for main story, not quite the scope of a main fallout entry but with a bunch of side things. Most of the pre-wastelands story was told through holotapes and how they staged areas. Post wasteland story is more traditional fallout fare.
That said the end game has a moderate amount of stuff to do and they add a bit more every few months
6 - The game is a literally cut and paste port of fallout 4 with multiplayer tacked on. Base building is a more limited version of fallout 4 (to save the servers)
The basic purpose of a base is
a - Free fast travel point
b - known repair location
c - for cooking and then minor base buffs
d - ammo, water, plant production
e - buying/selling to other players
any player can visit any active base on the map
overall goal of the game is to complete the story, then you do end game 'grinding' over and over and over to get a god roll weapon and god roll armour
Its easy, just get their bethesda id and then invite them
I think Its 4
Well, ammo is more scarce, but Its not too different from any fallout game
Yes, you can build Camps, but these are personal homes as opposed to settlements
Interesting. Every quest item I have ever seen was instanced. You and I can both pick up the key. I pick it up and I don't see it anymore. But you still see it and can pick it up.
