The 5Gb patch.... not just maintenance... usually takes 3 - 4 hours to complete.

Just be patient.

Fallout 76 is still offline while we perform maintenance and release Update 19. We're working to bring the game back online as soon as we can. Stay tuned!

It's gotta be. Since nearly every online game has or has had at one point, extended maintenance hours. I remember some particularly brutal months in World of Warcraft.

I’m a network admin, and all I know is that we do out maintenance at night when there is no one on, I can’t fathom how these admins go about their day. To me this is some of the laziest Admin ♥♥♥♥ I have seen. They should be doing their maintenance in the evening after hours when the player base is very low. That’s how we do it.

No. In the past 15 years I have NEVER encountered updates that take hours. NEVER. I'll say it one more more time, NEVER. Maybe in WOW whatever, guess theres a reason that I don't play that.
