Pacifist Mode is for YOU. If you dont want to accidently attack another player.
Its turned off by default. PvP becomes available at level 5 but its basically impossible to kill another player if they dont concede to the fight. You will barely do any damage unless they decide to shoot back.

So if you want a game to be a douche and griefer, this is the wrong one.
Go play RUST or DayZ, those communities are more on your wavelength.
