How do you trigger that giant molerat at Nuka World? I was bored today so I launched a nuke at the spawn area but the event didn't trigger.

You need to nuke abandoned mine shaft 2, not the event area.

There is a mini quest that gives you the information. Talk to everyone in NWoT. One of the men will give it to you,

And yes, you placed it way wrong.

Ah, don't even remember doing the quest but it shows as completed.

The only advantage for the mole is that its a 'new' boss fight
