My weapons lost effects

Was coming back to the game after quitting from the whole weapon nerf near the beginning from getting punished because others cheated. I put close to 500 hours into this game on release to farm my own TSE weapons. Now my expllosive modification has been removed from my weapons. Why does this game constantly punish legit pllayers for other players cheating and duping. This game will forever be a ♥♥♥♥ stain on fallout brand...... Worst handled game i think i have ever seen at this point.

Sounds like you had some legacy explosive energy weapons. The explosive star was removed over a year ago as those weapons were considered too powerful.

Wild, so they remove stuff that people spent legitimately hundreds of hours farming. What an absolute terrible idea. In most games, when something is OP it gets nerfed or the introduce a new meta via buffs/reballance work. In fallout, they just erase hours of hard work.

This game punished people who did nothing wrong except play the game way too much. Once again, i will be leaving this game because, when it comes to an online fallout, apparently Bethesda just cant handle it correctly.

Edit: also guass too huh, because my TSE gauss rifle also has no explosive modifier.....

There were dupe glitches that were heavily abused early in the game which led to them nerfing powerful weapons because everybody had them.... rather than you know... banning the people cheating. Well i guess i just net lose out from not cheating.

Im not asking for it to be broken, it was nerfed to useless orignally, now its removed all together. thats honestly unacceptable. You cant defend that honestly.

It was also removed accidentally on some legitimate black powder weapons a few updates ago.

I wasted my time by choice? i played the game, they removed my efforts. If your gonna shill a game, at least choose one that wasn't a catastrophic failure.

The game dropped in October/November of 2018. The explosive effect was made legacy in January of 2019.

Those weapons then went on to be duped. Duped LOTS. They should have been removed instead of just made legacy.

If you got one of those weapons as a legit drop in that 2-3 months then appreciate the fact that you got almost 4 years out of that weapon. If you traded for one. Sorry for your loss. But they needed to be removed.

Luckily, this only gimped one of my 3 characters. but NGL I'm still salty i worked for those weapons, some weren't even perfect either like my laser Gatling was scorched slayer and explosive, now its just scorched slayer.

My VATS characters 44 pistols still remain, and my pipe rifle sniper weapons seem to not have lost all too much. but they should have done something better then removing it. CHANGING it would be one thing, removing it is not fair. They had so much opportunity to change that effect i feel like and just squandered that for an easy fix.

ooo Been awhile since this one popped up. Yeah, you should have known it wasn't going to last. Get it as legit as you want, TSEs never should have been in the game. Sooner or later, they were going to do something about it.
