Usable display shelves?
So I've been looking around online and haven't managed to find an answer to whether it's possible to display things like teddy bears or Mr. Fuzzies or whatnot. It doesn't look like the display cases I have currently work, and the nice "shelves" don't appear to allow you to put anything on them.

I did fine one thing saying mr. fuzzies were "atom shop display" but I can't find anything that says what that means.

Anyone know if/how I can display my collections of toys and mr. fuzzies?

Yes, Kinda, you have to take advantage of exploits to stock the shelves, most require stacking items on say a conduit or a rug. The best way I can say to learn how is YouTube.

Unless something has changed, the thanksgiving display cabinet will allow you to add certain items like food, fasnacht masks and mr fuzzy's to them easily through the transfer menu. I'm fairly sure the glass display cabinets could as well but not used them in ages so something may have changed.

I use them now to display my rare fasnacht masks and mr fuzzy collection in the past.

There's two different kinds of Mr. Fuzzies. The Junk item kind you find in the game and the specialty ones that are from the Atomic shop and Seasons. The Junk item in-game ones can go in any display case as they are. The Atomic shop/Seasons ones you place in build mode and are under Floor Decorations. OR, you can go to a Tinker's bench and make a Junk item version of them under Souvenirs. Then those can be placed in a display case.

Teddy Bears are in-game Junk items and all can be placed in display cases.

There are No shelves that allow you to place Junk items on them. As in wall shelves, metal shelves or the yellow in-game metal shelves that are called "Display shelves". You must be in build mode to place any kind of small Build mode item on them.

IMO, the best looking display case for Junk items like teddy bears and Mr. Fuzzies is the Atomic shop Thanksgiving Dark Wood Hutch like display shelves that hold 6 items on it. When that one is not available in the Atomic shop you can contact Bethesda support and try to get one through them for Atoms. In addition, there's a Atomic shop yellow wood hutch display shelves that MIGHT become available again during Fasnacht in the next two or three weeks. It also holds 6 items.

Plus, any of the in-game build mode glass front display cases will display Junk item Mr Fuzzies and Teddy bears. 4 to each display case and they're under Displays in the build menu.

Here are some items in the regular glass display case.

Here are some mr fuzzy and other things in the thanksgiving display cabinet

All items shown for both of these are put in via the transfer menu. No glitches required.

Yeah, that new Atomic shop Armorie display is great. It holds 8 items and the best part about it is things like the Blue Devil hood and Imposter Sheepsquatch hood display without clipping through it. Each shelf spot is Large and shows off larger items really well.

A plushie display case was datamined for a later store or season release.

Right now you can't display some larger plushies such as the Mole Titan (crafted at tinker bench), but you can build floor item versions.

The shelves in game are... annoying... There are ways to merge items to 'sit' on them using a pressure pad, but it's a workaround using glitches instead of an intended mechanic.

Nice! I don't have either of those yet, but it's good to know they exist. I assume the T-giving one is seasonal/atom shop, but is the other one's plan in the world somewhere?

Where is that in the atom store? Got some atoms burning a hole in my pocket and I REALLY want to display my crap.

It may not be in the Atomic shop right now. Although it's the newest display, I got it several weeks ago.

You can try Bethesda support. There's a list of items you can get directly from there for Atoms and that display may be on it.

That display is so nice I'm sure it will make a return back to the Atomic shop more sooner than later too.

Cool, I'll keep an eye out for it.

Yeah the thanksgiving one needs to be bought from the shop but you can get it even when it is not currently displayed on sale.

The other one i have no clue what the plan is called but it is a regular plan. On a private team (when you add someone directly from friend menu to join you) that other person has the ability to build regular items for you in your camp. So if you know someone with the plan they can build those glass cabinets for you.

IMO, there seems to be some confusion here.

1. There's the in-game display cases that are a beat up wooden case with glass fronts(and backs) on them. 3 types; First is a glass front, back and sides. Second has a glass front and sides with the back being wood. Third has a curved/slanted glass cover all the way around it. AFAIK, theses are default display cases that everyone automatically got added to their build menu when display cases were first released. Those display cases hold 4 items each.

2. Later on in 2019 the Atomic Shop started selling the Thanksgiving really nice looking dark wood display cases/Shelves that hold 6 items each.

3. Right before or during last year's Fasnacht Event the Atomic Shop had a faded yellow version of the Thanksgiving display that holds 6 items.

4. What is now several months ago, either the Atomic Shop OR from a previous Season(I'm old and can't remember) they released the Armoire Display case that is a very large great looking shelf display that holds 8 items And will hold larger items without them clipping through the sides, top or bottom. ***This Armoire Display is the same as you see in the hallways of the Whitespring.
