Is there a "Region Ping" fix?
I recently got 76 for Steam (I'm a Xbox Fallout Vet) annnd I get this "151" error, I have no VPN or anything, so do I have to reinstall the game or something?

Fallout 76 1:5:1 noregionping (STEAM) Solution
PC Help
I was trying to help my friend solving his "vault tec engineers are hard at work" issue and found out a way when the other solutions proposed weren't working. This is a solution in case your game hasn't made a My Games folder yet and if your game launch in borderless windows on the upper left.

Copy the Fallout76.ini from the game folder

Go to Documents/ My Games

Create the folder "Fallout 76" and paste the fallout76.ini.

Launch the game and it should start in fullscreen, Login and it should work.

Hope this might help some people for whom the other solutions didn't work :)

You will have to wait until Bethesda releases a fix. There are three workarounds that may (or may not) work.

Run the game in Admin mode (this is the one Bethesda recommends)

The most successful one is moving the game to the boot drive (normally C drive)

If this is not possible you could try this:

Go to the directory the game is installed on such as A:\Program Files\ModifiableWindowsApps\Fallout 76
Copy the Project76.ini file to C:\Username\Documents\My Games\Fallout 76 and paste it there
Rename it to Project76Custom.ini
Note: if you cannot move the file due to restrictions please enable mods in the Xbox app. To do this go to the Fallout 76 page in the app then press the 3 dots next to Play button then press enable mods.

I don't have the Xbox version, so that's not gonna work. Bigger problem is, Game's already on the boot drive, and I reinstalled it 3 times already. Check the files each time I reinstalled and there's no "Fallout.ini" filecode anywhere in my game's folder's.

I'll try the game on admin mode tomorrow, and if that doesn't work I'll forward Bethesda an email whenever I have the chance to.

The fallout76.ini isn't in with the rest of the game files, it goes into 76's spot in your documents folder(if it doesn't exist this may be your problem, make sure you have a "my games" folder in your documents folder, if you don't try creating one(sometimes one's antivirus can prevent changes to these folders as they're one of the primary targets for ransomware)), if you're on windows you probably also have the other folders, all windows installs come with the Xbox game bar and the like, the files the second post is mentioning "should" be around.
