This game is still a buggy mess ...

Each and every time I play it, there's bugs on the way. Bullets doing damages but the enemies get their hp back, struggling to fast travel and, the cherry on the cake, THE DUMB SCORE DAILIES THAT AUTOCOMPLETES THEMSELF!


It's about time you fix this game already ... it's freaking 2 years old!

There’s times i get stuck looking at terminals and I can’t back out of them, the only button that responds is the “A” button on my controller.

I’d get stuck in tight places where I can’t get out.

Missions where important characters disappear and I can’t continue.

There’s times where I jump off a cliff and magically teleport back to the top.

Fast traveling will get me stuck under buildings if someone builds a base near workshops I travel to.

Enemies are stuck and don’t fight back

Power suits randomly run out of charge after fast traveling until I get out and back in

There’s a lot of them, some that are alt+f4 worthy.

Costumers have a right to complain when things are going to ♥♥♥♥. Last patch brought more bugs than what it fixed yet again. Even their community BoS stuff had to be modified at the last minute because it was just impossible to get 150m concrete. They clearly don't play their own game and have no idea about what is going on.

Most energy weapons in the game are either bugged or plain bad because of how their armor penetration is calculated. Explosive weapons (missile launchers and stuff) are worthless because of how bad and unpractical they are. VATS is broken and magic weapons are ruining the fun of those who are playing legitimately. "Hey look, that guy just nuked the prime spot! Let's go and kill the SBQ in 20 secs so only I can loot it".

I could continue but I don't even care at this point. I stopped playing and unless there's a huge patch for correcting all those long lasting bugs, I'm not planning to give this game a second chance. Bethesda made it clear that they want to cash in while they still can and move on to other projects.

Feel free to play the game and forge your own opinion but do not say there is no bugs or that Bethesda is doing all they can about it because that's false.

Even their showcase of FO76 during the quake con was laughable ... devs stumbling on the bugs that were reported months ago and trying to change the subject was hilarious.

yea i have problems most of the time when im trying to kill something or someone an use half my ammo then they might die. then at same place ill shoot 2 times an they die. cant figure it out.

But You can always make a little research beforehand. And if You bought the game for more than 10 bucks, then I would understand Your point of view on the issue.

Yeah, true about 21 patch. But patience is virtue, and helps on the case :P
Well, can't really pitch in about those weapons, cause they're bulky and useless to Me.
(was always like that in every FO game, FOR ME. I just mod My weapons to degree I can kill most things with even the ♥♥♥♥♥♥ weapons xD )
Don't use the VATS on FO76 either, just generally dislike using it. I rather use the AP to run :)
I get what You mean dude and sad that these things bother You to degree, where You felt You needed time off. Not saying it's unreasonable aswell.

Well, I can and I will. Cause My play style doesn't really procure the bugs as much and as I have already said, those bugs ARE HEAVILY coming from the world You're playing. But I understand You to be miserable to the point, that You've given up. That doesn't still mean the game is unplayable or that it can't be fun to play! :)

Didn't really get into quakecon stuff tbh, and I heard about one of devs having the travel bug happen while streaming xD LOL
never happened to Me yet tho, so I just consider Myself lucky on that matter.

Ok, thanks for the tip. Just felt that it would be a nice change to also read comments from someone that really enjoy's the game, rather than just swimming through the sea of hate :)

4:7:0 Is the error for a corrupted file in the game. You fix it by repairing the game.

Sorry but, in a Fallout game, I shall use the VATS! It is incredibly helpful in FO76 to quickly take down swarms of enemies (when it works) and also spot enemies you couldn't see in bushes and what not.

Telling people to not use something because you do not isn't a solution. I do not usually use missile launchers/fat man's too but there's already not a lot of working builds in the game ... and in past games, fat man's were usually the thing you would grab and use against something you would not be able to take down efficiently. I only played a single character (lvl 200 ish rifleman) because each time I wanted to make a new one and try a totally different build, I would hit a wall made of bugs.

If I should avoid VATS for the sole reason that it's buggy, a ton of perk cards become useless. A ton of legendary affixes become useless. Same for all those weapons.

In my case, it's not hate. I like the game but I just can't keep playing it in such a miserable state. Each and every game session I had were buggy somehow and what pisses me off the most is that some bugs are as old as the game itself. They prefer adding new items to their shop each week to grab some money rather than fix the basic game.

If, one day, they decide to fix most of it, I'll gladly play it again. For now, I'm done and I had to share my experience to warn people about what they're about to purchase. I'm not telling anyone to not buy this game but, at least, they know what they're getting into.

Really? Thanks for the tip man. I only get it when the connection is not the mightiest tho.. But I have reinstalled the game since I first downloaded it with Bethesda Launcher, copied over to steam, and go xD

Yeah, VATS is just personal preference, tbh. For Me it's easier to use perk cards for other stuff, since I can aim mostly with better accuracy than VATS.
Spotting being the only good reason to use it. otherwise I would probably just leave it in the Offline FO series.

I mean, I do understand where You are standing. But then again, I think I might be lucky then with My servers at times, cause I dont notice bugs that often and all the time. Some worlds, 5 minutes and kkbye. It depends :) But I have learned to Love the game nevertheless of the constant hassle with it :)

Yeah, the shop thing really does suck tho. But now think, how many whiney letters they must get from people who just buy through the game and quit in less than 100hrs xD

Also, no clue if it's been reported yet or not, but apparently You can literally have an underground base. Accidentally saw a funny thing at a players base, thought to Myself, why would One build something like that.... Anyway, that's how I found how to replicate it :D
He also had 3x ammo factories etc hidden underground by a trainstation :)

Its not a bug, but a build exploit. You use a cooking station or something to get past the world boundries. Almost like finding a way to get past a invisible wall in other games.
