Bulk Screws give nothing.......

Ok so I bought three bulk screws scraped them so I could make a shiny new weapon. but alas I still didn't have anything cause it said I only had 7. I bought three more bulk screws and tried one more after relogging just to be sure. still nothing. So Bulk Screws = wasted 167 caps each....sigh......

you dont need to scrap bulk for it to be used to craft. and scrapping all or shoving a crap load into your 1st stash box dosent break bulk down. iirc i needed some steel to build in my camp... bought 5 bulk steel packs. didnt open them. started building.... did you buy them from a player vendor machine or a robot vendor?

even with them in bulk can't build anything with them I think they are broken. I bought them from the robot in the fire station.

ok so I"m bugged I gave one of the bulks to my aunt and she could seperate them

Screws don't bulk as far as i have seen. Just get a bunch of fans.

Bulking something is like putting loads of them in a box, wrapping it up and getting it ready to sell. When it's bulked you can't use it for day to day work like crafting weapons.

You need to unbulk it by scrapping it again, and you get the components back.

Note that bulking doesn't in 99% of cases reduce weight, in most it is the same or heavier than the unbulked items.

I bought the bulk screws from the vendor but when I scraped it I got springs....

This is all BS. You automatically begin using bulked materials when you craft. 100% of the time bulking reduces weight. Karr is mistaken because when you bulk stuff it puts the bulked material into your inventory instead of the container.

Leave the item as bulked, no need to scrap them. Bulk also helps a bit with reducing stash weight.

Bulked the crafting thing acted like I didn't have it at all. I have the 1st thing (at least for now) so storage isn't a problem. I gave up on this in the end I just went around looting fans and hotplates.
