Easy ways to complete SCORE challenges
Thought I’d post this thread to help everyone complete SCORE challenges easily. If you have an easy way to complete some of the more common SCORE challenges, feel free to pet them here. Try to remember that not everyone is level 50, so maybe post some low-level options too if you can. Here are some tricks I found:

Join a team/complete event(s) as a team: Join or create a public team. The team doesn’t have to be with you when you complete the event. For an easy event to proc, take Tyler county workshop and defend the first wave of enemies against it. (First wave shows up a couple minutes after claiming it, and , bonus, claiming a workshop is also usually another SCORE challenge)

Kill a cryptid: Flooded trainyard ALWAYS spawns Snallygasters. The Kiddie cabins in the toxic valley frequently does as well. Get to Grafton to see if you can get the Grafton day event to start (it spawns a Grafton monster). Freddy’s Fear Shack (near red rocket mega stop) always spawns a wendigo.

Kill legendary enemies: the Uranium Fever event always spawns at least three. You are basically guaranteed to get several legendaries in Radiation Rumble.

Kill super mutants: there are a ton of level 5-10 super mutants in the ramshackle city where the dry lakebed where Charleston used to be.

Kill Ghouls: LOTS of low level ghouls in Mogintown.

Kill mole miners: Uranium fever event, lode bearing event, or just wander around the ash heap frankly.

Kill Scorched: Morgantown Airport. There’s even an event that spawns waves of scorched and gives you a supply crate!

Cryptid: Grafton Monster and Snallygasters spawn outside "Hemlock Holes" Workshop in Toxic Valley. Grafton Monster spawns on southeastern? border of "Charleston".

Deathclaw on "Deathclaw Island."

Legendary: Any "Horde" event.

Super Mutants: The location degausser stated is called "New Gad." Another location is in the north "Eastern Regional Penitentiary."

Mole Miners: "Welch" is a good place, however just outside the western side has a couple houses with a random spawn system. Could be Super Mutants. Could be a level 50 Sheepsquatch.

.

Re: any horde event: Line in the sand doesn’t seem to spawn legendaries except scorched beasts, and even that isn’t a given.

Re: New Gad: thanks, couldn’t think of the name. Also, since it isn’t a super plot relevant place, I wanted to make sure I described it so people knew where it was. I mean, it isn’t as famous as Sugar Grove or Morgantown.

The events are literally called "Horde". The goal is to find the Enemy leader which is always a Legendary.

Ah: I see. Sorry.

Also:

Kill robots: Sugar Grove has tons of robots, as does the RobCo facility in the north of Cranberry Bog. If those are too high level, the vault-Tec agricultural facility near flatwoods has a low level event you can solo involving rogue Mar. Handys.

The only exception to this is the Wolf Horde event that comes up right after the Leader of the Pack Event. but then, the Leader of the Pack event has 3 guaranteed legendaries in it so probably a balance thing?

Level up is the one that takes the longest for me as a level 176.

- Create a new character, leave vault and level up, repeat 3x for weekly in ~10minutes or less

Buy from or sell items to other players X times:

Join random public teams until you see someone with a camp selling ammo.

Fast travel to their camp for free and see if they are selling ammo at 1 cap each.

Buy X ammo 1 at a time for 1 cap each.

In total X caps will be spent in X number of transactions.

Kill 5 different types of robots:

Go to Whitesprings and start killing the robots.

You can find Mr Handy types, Protectrons, Sentry Bots and Assaultrons there.

They are also non-hostile until you start shooting one so you can use one of the shops as a funnel to kill before fast travelling away.

Then, go Vault 76 to kill some Liberators.

Another easy way to kill x types of robots is to go to Garahan mining offices. There are handys, protectrons, turrets, robobrains, and sentry bots there. If you go to the damaged monorail station next to the parking lot you can snipe the parking lot ones from afar.

mole miners = breach and clear super mutants at the dam near morgantown. hemlock holes was already mentiond for encryptids but there is also the encryptid hunt and seek daily.
but the best place to find encryptids to kill or at least tag is radiation rumble. why you ask? because theres so much loot after that event if youre participating and shooting at everything even if the event eventually fails youre getting minimum one legendary ghouls doign it solo.
with others its becomes a race to tag as many as you can and when the event is relaly cooking to the finish it spawns a pack of deathclaws and a pack of snallygasters and floaters and more snallygasters...you get the group event , event , encrytptid , deathclaw , ghouls if thats a challenge or 25 enemies or crits on enemies... that event alone can cover 7 challenges in one go as well as rolling your score xp bar over and possibly yourself getting a levle up to cover another challenge. and yes its not low level...but there are places for someone under level 45 to participate and help, running ore in a hazmat suit isnt hard if your good at avoiding ghouls and carry a bunch of stims as theres a rad shower for free...
the event is just right for getting a bunch of challegnes done at once and for reals im so busy runnign ores radaway spamming stimming shooting and tracking turret repairing that all the onscreen pop ups and fanfares and other associated to the challenges stuff is just stuff in the wya of what im aiming at or looking at or trying to pick up ;)

Actually it is a shared spawn with bears, ghouls, and gulpers. You are trying to write coincidence as fact.

Charleston and Hemlock Holes always have a Grafton Monster.
Queen of the Hunt always spawns a cryptid.

you forget heaven whitespring, very many ghoul there
NiueCA Jul 23, 2020 @ 5:37pm
Toxic larrys always has 3 snallygaster spawns for cryptid

In general, these are much easier than say, kill crickets in the savage divide or kill a sloth in cranberry bog. Or, kill a legendary by a fissure. Or, forgetting to equip sunglasses, a suit and be on chems when you level up. Lol. A lot less frustrating and I'm glad. I think it's a +

Build stuff challenges, just make a schementics of some stuff, then build it at workshops for free.

Deal critical hits challenge, use vats crits with shotguns you get one crit for each pellet. Also works on legacy weapons if you have one.

Legendary challenges, go to fissure sites. Legendaries have a higher chans to spawn there.

Cryptid challenge, flooded trainyard have 5-6 snallygasters, Toxic Larry's Meat 'n Go have 3 of them.

Giant creatures, Abandoned Waste Dump have 3 deathclaws.
