Plan: Farmable dirt tiles? Sold by Samuel at Foundation for 500 gold bullion, with a Settlers reputation of at least Friendly.

To farm rep (legit, you can exploit both sides for instant rep)

Daily

Settlers - Do the vital equipment, return it to them, donate it to the foundation
Settlers - Do the photograph daily, take pictures of crater, give them to foundation
Settlers - Do the raiders retired daily, send them to foundation

Raiders - Do the communication daily, repair the item, use 8+ int to get the best result
Raiders - Do the retired raider daily, kill them, say appalachia has a new corpse (second choice)
Raiders - Do the photograph daily, take pictures of foundation, give them to crater
Raiders - Do the mirelurk base (far left of the map), one time defend event
Raiders - Turn in queen mirelurk meat at the above base daily for a very minor buff

The less than legit way is

Settlers, vital equipment, find one of the items needed, stash it, then turn the quest in exit hop servers and repeat... might be patched not sure... I heard it gives the rewards and reputation every time

Raiders, do the murder the ex raider mission, slowly talk to the girl, pick the second choice and then hit tab to exit right as you click it. Repeat, I heard it only gives reputation increase

Really you'll get rep fast enough anyway (and still do it for the treasury notes when its all said and done) and the spoiler'ed things runs the risk of you getting banned from the game

so... just a quick question from an about to be 30 nooblet...

i just redid my camp to place more mutfruit/corn/tatos for veggie starch, only I put them straight in the normal ground instead of doing the clunky collaboration of things like the Railroad Car planter and Truck Bed planters.

Did i just gimp my food production by not putting them in the planters and into the normal ground?

Nope, they produce the same whether they are in the ground, a planter, or a farmable dirt tile. The advantages of the planters or tiles is they can be used anywhere, not just on actual dirt, and they are easier to find and harvest because you don't have to find the plants among the weeds, grass, etc.

Oh man, tyvm i was worried i was going to have to redo the farm again lmao

It's in that nook by the Wayward bridge area, kinda right across the stream from the tents on the riverbed area (you can see the BoS initiates where the Blood Eagles used to be) that's the Farm. So it's really easy to plant a lot there without having to dig through the bushes etc.

Speaking of which, I hate the fact that the water on the map does not match the water in the world lol, i'm using water wheels for power so it's kinna a requirement till i get more plans.

Sorry, that was rambly, thank you so much for the speedy reply!

Yeah pretty much what he said, its to make them stand out and put them where you want (I have mine above my base)

The ONLY thing that makes plants grow faster is the turbo fert grenades (ally with foundation, takes a while) which instantly regrows all plants in its aoe

If you made your base by the wayward... sorry you'll be rebuilding it eventually as an almost given.

Not a very scenic place, poor access to resources, poor location for your free fast travel hub

In addition its one of the more common places to get "your camp cannot be placed, do you want to stay on this server" popups, because new players tend to drop theirs right there.

On the plus side its in the "green" zone so nukes can't land on it... On the negative side... almost no one nukes bases (I've done it a few times when people had stupid prices or trap bases, I've only had one player not leave and join a new server by the time the nuke landed (destroying their base)).

On the plus side, the enemy types that spawn there are low tier. On the negative side they tend to be ones that easily get under your guns to do damage uncontested

The defend event from the mirelurks for the raiders can be repeated. You just have to talk to the guy again. Go through the conversation and you will be able to start it again.

Well, I just hit 30, I really don't know where to set up shop/what's a good location. I chose that one simply due to its ease and has a trader right there to sell stuff too.

Also, prolly should've said this. I solo only with a 1st sub. (sorry, I just despise the idea of my game experience depending on the 'good will' of random internet people. Sorry, I'm older than the internet, I literally have either had a friend, or myself suffer pretty much every horror story from the net one can short of loss of life.

So... I almost didn't get this title (seriously only picked it up last year) simply due to the Multiplayer part of it. When private servers came out, that's when my interest picked back up again.

So far the big inconvenience of that is:
1. No people so no one to ask for help (information), not that i could anyway, the game doesn't allow chat unless I mod it.
2. 1400 caps a day max cuz traders share all caps across the whole world simultaneously for some reason, and since i don't go adventure, no vendor bot in my camp cuz no one to sell to.

But... I love Fallout, and yet another FO4 or FONV playthrough is... well... i have like 1500+ hours combined between those two titles... really the only thing new has to come from mods. All told... the only 2 big negatives I have are the fact that i can't seem to play more than an hour, even on my 'private' server (i know, misnomer) before getting disco'd, and the stash space :VGRUMPY:

Although I did find out that I had over 200 in useless 'aid' items lol so I've freed that up some.

Thats what the wiki says, through experience it never came up again doing just that

Those were part of the two Wastelanders bundles that had to be purchased with real money. You got a FO1st Tent, some other doodads, and the planters.
