The Secret Service armor looks like someone said "Star Wars Stormtrooper, but really out of shape". It's just painful to look at, too bulky and goofy, including the under armor.
But yeah, the values don't mean that much anyway at high level game play as long as they are there, they don't make a huge difference between the armors, so I'll just go with taste, and mine says "nope" to the Secret Service Armor.
I run full buttressed / Ultralight and have not yet got all Vanguard rolled (because again, not that big of a deal) for use on my VATS full health Commando.
Gotta agree with that, plus good choice of mods. Jetpacks pretty fun too if you're willing to grind
It is certainly true that Brotherhood looks way better, the stormtrooper jibe is spot on. But few players don't get their personal swag on by not wearing clothes over the top of it. If you want to wear just the armor, then Brotherhood looks much cooler.
Aside from that, SS all the way. Not only is it amazing protection, it is incredibly cheap to craft for what comes out. One module, three stars (chance).
So you can just keep rolling until you have a set with specific bonuses for a cheap cost. For me, SS is not only the best armor in the game, it's the best piece of kit period.
Yeah, the brotherhood's always been kinda iffy for me too. I'm just glad the logos small on the armour at least
The funny part of Service Armour is that it was meant to come in light, sturdy (medium), heavy variants. You can view the concept art here: https://fallout.fandom.com/wiki/Christopher_Ortega?file=FO76_Chris_Ortega_%28Secret_Service_Armor%29.jpg
What ended up in game is the ugly heavy version...
Which I always am.
just 4-5 weapon weight mods otherwise i couldnt run or quicktravel.
with one part poison&weapon weight on a metal right leg for that specific mod in daily ops.
exception the helmet , i cant stand BOS scout helmet.
The wiki says Secret Service will start dropping from mobs once you learn the Plan, but doesn't say the same for Brotherhood parts...
For brotherhood I think so, or at least you can get them as an award from daily ops and Expeditions.
SS definitely does, it drops for me frequently.
but yea after backpack removal having apparel that mimics armor would also be kinda nice as QOL but theres other fries. the clients ressource use and loading time being dependant on fps refresh rate is just one.
I got recon for bragging rights because you need to be a pro to be a tank in them during events. Also SS is far more easier to get.
