Is anyone else having issues with horrible performance? I have a RTX 2080 and I can barely get past 28 fps in this, wtf lmao

Change it to Fullscreen instead of Fullscreen windowed or whatever it defaults to.

There is also an ini file where you change the fps cap from 60 to whatever you like but going to high will mess the game up.. I cant quite remember what the setting was but its posted on here some place.

Swap to fullscreen, disable iPresentInterval(vsync) in Fallout76prefs.ini at documents/my games/Fallout 76 and you should be golden. For some reason the game's performance in windowed mode is drastically worse. On my 2080 at 1440p maxed out settings I maintain 100FPS most of the time.

also go into the in game settings and slide the grass fade waaay down the other sliders can go down to whatever you like. the shadow and lighting setting can also be lowered to medium if its really bad.
