If you have an FPS monitor like rivatuner, you can see if it is stuttering or just getting stuck. If it is the stuttering problem, it cannot be fixed. Everyone has this problem, but people here just lie about it. It looks like this:

I tried to link right to a hitch, but if I did not do it right you can see a good example hitch happens at the 9:32 mark.
Not hitching I can spin, move, shoot, do whatever I’m just stuck randomly and can’t WASD out of it whenever I’m inside a building it happens.
Pretty much same here, it hasn’t happened since so not sure what’s the trigger effect for this happening. Like when walking on a certain spot it’ll make my WASD go unresponsive it’s extremely odd.
Uninstalling, deleting the Fallout 76 game folder, deleting the Fallout 76 folder in My Documents/My Games/ and then reinstalling seems to have fixed it.
We don't know if the weird files thing was the reason, but a complete and proper reinstall fixed it so you might just want to try that.
The bug is caused when you have really high FPS over 144 frames. Usually happens in interiors and is result of disabling Vsync. The game can't handle high frames and bugs out. If you can I would suggest limiting the frames by Nvidia control panel or another program if you don't want to use the ingame vsync.
Any idea of a way to limit FPS in control panel?
just do a bing search (google sucks)
I can say you can keep your iPresentInterval = 0 in your Fallout76Perfs.ini
In my NVIDIA control panel:
- Max Frame Rate: 144 FPS
- Power management mode: Prefer maximum performance
- Threaded optimization: On
- Vertical sync: Off
Is this happening to anyone else ? Can changing my keyboard fix this ?
Edit : I have a Corsair K70, I tried to play the game without I-Cue (the keyboard software), but it still freezes.
