"mine coal in gauley mine" quest bugged.

It shows me 2 location where i should mine coal for this quest, but i can not interact with them.
First i thought i need a pickaxe and gathered one... nope. This does not work on my end at least.

I found a similar report from a player from about 1 year ago, Guess fixing bugs like this isnt still on Bugthesdas list.

Yes i know. It does not show me any interactions. Pressing E does nothing.

But for the sake of it i will relaunch and try again.

There are 3 locations that you need to mine

I did this again today, no luck.
It shows me the exact locations of the spots where to mine, but when i go there and try to interact (pressing E) nothing happens.

It does not even say "press [button bind] to mine".

Does anyone know how to cancel or reset this quest ?

I got the same problem too, can mine the right one but the one on the left doesn't work. It doesn't even prompt to press E...

You are right about the value ingame, but i want to play a functional game.

And I just did it yesterday with no problem. There are some things that bug out occasionally, but switching servers usually fixes those. Might work with this as well.
