Let's talk about the new radio host for Appalachia Radio --

There was a time I really enjoyed listening to the Appalachia Radio station in FO76, but Bethesda thought it would be a great idea to bring in a terribly voiced female radio host...

She's ruining the 1940's charm that this station brought to the game. I try my best to ignore her boring commentary but to no avail. Will there ever be an option to disable her?

I suppose for now I'll stick with youtube. Seriously Bethesda, get rid of her and get the money back you paid her. She's awful.

Wow, I haven't listened to the radio until now.

For me, this is the worst DJ I've heard. It's like somebody who is just phoning it in for a few bucks. There's no real energy in the delivery.

At least with FO3, NV and FO4 the hosts had their own personalities. This person feels like they're trying to be Oxhorn from YouTube but are on the verge of passing out from sleep deprivation.

If people like it, cool, not for me though :/

She is by far my least favorite DJ in a Fallout game. I still vastly prefer her to the station before it had a DJ. It just felt so lifeless, and made the radio feel completely detached from the game. Even though she is not as fun as the other DJs, she is necessary - at least for me.

They missed a golden opportunity with the radio DJ. It's Appalachia, a land of conspiracy and government installations and plots. They should have made the DJ an Alex-Jones like Right Wing conspiratard who rants about Zetans, Cryptids, putting chemicals in the water that make the Frogs glow and the secret shadow government that still totally exists.

The twist is, of course, all these things are demonstrably true in game. So it's kind of a fun juxtaposition.

when i saw a new radio station was on the patch list i was hoping for a make your own playlist radio like gta but that didnt happen then when i tuned in i was hoping to get nothing but old xmas music on repeat since the radio came out in the holidays lol
