better rethink your weapon choise, laser rifles are the worst dmg pick exept maybe a bowling pin...
change to plasma rilfes instead, they wont need to eat up there ammo like candy to bring something down, so you dont need to make as much plasma clips as you need fusion cells.
or just go ballistic weapons, they need no copper at all, including the gauss rifle, because 2mm only need lead and steel to build.

sorry I ment to say fusion cores instead of cells, have found a lot of lead, plastic, etc. but am short on copper and I can't afford to go and buy copper at the stores, do ya know where I can find copper at a mine that I don't of? ? ?

No mine has what you are looking for in abundance. You have to hunt the right scrap or get a Workshop, or CAMP, with Copper Nodes and farm it with an Extractor.

so it is cores?
get a power plant up and running, claim the corosponding workshop, power up the fusion core producer there, farm it 10 minutes, and than wonder where you shoud pack all this cores.
also power user card is you friend.

Workshop at the South blackened Area accepts a copper extractor once you claim it.

Said workshop is West from the guy that exchanges your scrip for Leg weapons. Also had two slots for junk extraction, one alum and one iron.
