Whitespring/Refugee daily quests not resetting
It's been like this for ages, I just wanna cook the darn soup so I can get my rep up, haven't been able to do the quest since the update for Atlantic city I believe.

Since a while ago you only get one of the three per day.

I did complete the rest few times and it never popped soup back, but this explains it, so no more "hoarding" until you wanna do it? It just doesn't appear if 1 of the 3 is active?

Correct

I wish these functioned like the Camden Park or Raider ones. I wouldn't mind being able to bank them and do them another time once in awhile.

I think once you finish a whitespring responder daily quest, there's a random chance to get a daily with the cook. So i guess you just have to do the medical manual or the survival guide or the fetch junk dailies until they decide to give you the chef daily.

No, it's a specific one every day that you start one, seems to use a similar randomization to daily quests. The server randomly decides what the quest is gonna be for that day, then it's that quest for everyone. I switch between multiple characters on multiple platforms and when I repeat the quest on another character in the same day, I get the same quest.

Actually daily quests are somewhat like a clock. There will be a rotation of a type of daily every day until it goes back to the same one but never the same one in like the next day for example, like how you can stack the park dailies up to 3 until you complete them or how they chose region dailies. The only ones who aren't random or on a clock routine are the photos for the overseer and The lost item for ward. As for the Whitespring, it's somewhat random, a bit more like you said.

I was specifically talking about the Whitespring dailies, that's what this thread is about.

I'm aware of all the other rules and variations. Daily reset timers are kind of all over the place, with a handful that reset at 8pm EST every day. What it boils down to, is that it doesn't really matter. Only a select few are worth doing, and even those have limited value. I don't even go out of my way to do Photo Opportunity unless I'm going that way anymore. After maxing the reputations, it's more load screens than it's worth imo, tho the overseer's house has a good selection of loot.

Yeah, Whitespring is weird on this. They should've allowed you freedom of choice to help a certain responder once a day. Like you can chose to only help the cook if you wanted.
