[New player] Need Pure Flux & Ultracite
Hello! I’m kinda new to this game and am trying to get a jetpack for my T-45 power armor but I seem to be missing materials for it. They are Pure Cobalt Flux and Pure Violet Flux.

I’m trying to make 2 so my fiancé can also have a jetpack. Also in regards to this Ultracite stuff… I found a whole bunch of plans for this powerarmor called Ultracite Power Armor in a donation box and see that I need to be lvl 50 to make it and a whole bunch of the Ultracite material but I only have 10.

If anyone would be willing to help with any of these, I’d be very grateful!

you gotta be 50- then Nuclear zones can be farmed for the raw stuff, and refined with mats from critters from said zones.

I am aware but I wanted to ask. Hard to collect the materials with what I have. I haven’t hit 50 but I have been at blast zones collecting the flowers but I have nowhere near the amount of materials needed for 10 pure violet and 10 pure cobalt.

you can find ultracite on the ground around fissers (yellow/green glow) 5 ultracite = 1 ultracite scrap, You need alot of it.

When someone launches a nuke to the bottom right-hand side of the map put on whatever PA you currently have and head down there. Help kill the Scorched Queen and you will get stable flux, plans and a few legendaries for your trouble. If the event Scorched Earth appears after the nuke goes off you can even fast travel to it without spending any caps. But don't dally around sometimes she gets killed pretty fast depending on who is there and what weapons they have. Make sure to land a bunch of shots on her to get credit.

I know it says "pure", but it's actually called "stable" flux. That said....

The plants are the easy part. What you're probably missing are the other parts, all of which randomly drop from enemies in nuke zones. Problem is that the SBQ is never fought in the nuke zone, so all those enemies that should be dropping the stuff, aren't. You'll have to wait for someone to nuke an area more populated with enemies to try to get them.

Alternatively, you can join SBQ fights. You get a few random stable flux as a reward.

And advanced repair kits...

Sure, those too, but the thread was about flux.

Ahh… This has been a big help! So I guess goto nuke zones and help kill things. Now all I have to worry about is running out of ammo cause I could barely kill a Legendary Sheepsquach with all the ammo I had. .-.

Anyway, thank y’all!

Even if the queen battle isn’t in a nuke zone, there is always the red ring of nuke that exists long after the queen is gone. There are several locations that spawn mobs if you walk near them. As well as any scorch beasts may summon scorched as well. Anything you kill in the nuke zone can drop flux components.

There is... another way... boxed mods.

T-45 is the low area PA (mob scaling has taken the flavour of the zones away). The boxed mods may be available for purchase from the vendorbots in The Ash Heap and Toxic Valley (Grafton has 2 vendorbots).

Alternatively you can find them in the world in those zones at random... this is ok but time consuming unless you know the spawns.

Server hopping and checking vendors could solve the problem... could take a while and you'd be doing nothing else... but it's caps instead of junk. I can't remember the cost either... but at least 5000 would be a safe bet.
