As I understand it, those who earned it by finishing the scoreboard cannot pick it up. Those who bought it with stamps can pick it up.

I just saw one drop so what is the deal? Do you need the battlepass to see it or something?

Sp I guess once you learn the craft then you can pick it up

2 of mine can craft all pieces, Did the Pit long ago, but can not still pick them up. This only started with the new update. My other 6 players who had the plans and made the suit have been picking it up for ever until the update. I took them all through the AC and got enough stamps by grinding for days and they bought all the plans and made the extras mods for their Armor and still they can not pick any up. Most had a good 3 star set already before the update so no biggie. But hate to see those Vanguards just laying there.

Overeaters is a far better prefix for a full health build than Vanguards. Just saying.

Crazy thing for me is almost all the pieces I cannot pick up are 3 stars. All other free roam legendaries are 1 or 2 but the ones i cannot pick up are extremely often 3 star.

I know the Union PA plans from the scoreboard and cannot pick any of them up at all.

So, you have to search for them, once you find the "body", you can pick up the part ... .

Anyway, works for me ... .

For me area loot or directly looting the actual enemy with the item both do not work. I cannot pick them up at all. A few times the pieces have disappeared from area loot, as if i looted them, but were not in my inventory at all. Whole thing is bugged.

Lets be real. Without these bugs the game would be super boring and predictable for those of us who have played for such a long time. The bugs keep me coming back lol. Always something new to see and do.

I have to tell, I'm playing another game full time recently and return occasionnaly to Fallout 76, so maybe I have not encountered the same bug, I don't know ... .

Yes I have been doing this. I regularly visit SBQ area and some of the other event areas to check for legendaries sitting on the ground.

So this is a known bug then? Like is there something you need to do to be able to loot it or what is actually happening?

It's a bugged loot list. When legendary gear is created it checks what plans the player knows, and a standard base list, then randomly rolls an item from that.

The last patch introduced a bug that allows the Union to drop but not pick up. Some gear is character locked and that check is messing up.

The Union PA shouldn't be even dropping for those who don't have it unlocked in way or another.

Yet it was dropping for everyone, and those who didn't have it unlocked, couldn't pick it up.

I recently realised I had 1050 stamps on my character so i decided to buy Union PA, that was yesterday. Hopefully I'll be able to pick them up now.
