Can you play with a controller?

As the title says, can you play Fallout 76 with a Xbox Series X controller or is it mouse and keyboard only? I wouldn't ask such a stupid question if I wasn't stuck with a laptop for the next three weeks

I play this game 100% with a controller.

I started with a xbox 360 controller, and have graduated to a Xbox Series 2 Elite Controller.

The only time you have to use a keyboard is when you connect to the game the first time, and when you name your character.

Yes,You can. I use one of my xbox one controllers on my pc.

Yep, been playing with XBOX controller for more than a year now. It's the best way to play in my opinion.

Playing the game from time to time on the steam deck, so yep controller works great.

I use an old G13 Logitech, it has 21 keys to use for one hand. Great on 76. Tried it on Starfield and found out that it has over 200 keys to bind-NOt happening.

I am using a Xbox Series 2 Elite Controller and it works better than m&k. I have a problem only when I see the game map: the left stick produces a too fast scrolling of the map. Do you know how it can be solved?

Yes, you can. I use a controller. Any Xbox controller will work.
