ammo converter plans
Know where to buy it? Wiki says Mortimer fro 1250 but he doesn't. I am at friendly and a half with the raiders

You have to be Allied for it to become available in it's inventory.

Minerva will have it on sale for her next big sale, which I believe is next week, if not, the week after. She had it this week, so it'll be whenever her big sale comes around for the month.

Ammo converter? I thought that was Atomic Store.

Mortimer at Crater sells the ammo construction appliance to make ammo from thin air...

Yeah, you can also request it from the Atomic store for around 500 atoms.

Most of the comments I've seen about it say the exchange ratio is horrid. And it's not great. That being said, I have stacks of tens of thousands of rounds of ammo for all the weapons I don't use, and not sure what else might be worth doing with it all than converting it.

I feel like I got it from a scoreboard, but it's been so long.

I get soild use out of it for making fuel. You can't sell the ammo so anything is better than nothing.

Thanks for the help. I feel silly now. I must have gotten one from a previous character I played years ago. Didn't know I could share between characters.
@Rabidnid the exchange rate is the very worst but yes, there are other ammos I will never use so something is better than nothing

The converter is not as good as the constructor..

Also I was sure the converter was the foundation version and not raiders ??

ArmCo ammunition construction appliance plan- The plan can be bought from Mortimer for 750 gold bullion gold bullion upon reaching the Raiders reputation rank of Ally.

Ammo Converter plan- Can be bought from Mortimer in the Crater Core for 1250 gold bullion with a Raiders reputation of at least Cautious.

I think that is correct?

Not sure about that. Next time I fire the game up I'll go ask Morty about what it has in stock.

The wiki does say converter and Morty is what I remember getting mine from.

EDIT: IF my faulty memory serves me right, the Constructor was originally a reward from a previous Season and was added to Mortimer's Inventory after awhile.
