Unable to add specific jetpack to power armor torso

I'm trying to replace the standard jetpack on my ultracite PA to the Alien invader deepspace jetpack. It's an option and I have all the requirements and it happily takes all my flux but then doesn't change. The standard jetpack remains, the alien invader deepspace jetpack remains only as an option, except now all my gd flux is gone! Updates!

I have the same problem. I have the standard jetpack added to my Ultracite torso, and also have the option to modify the torso for the alien jetpack. When I try to do so, the sound for making it occurs, but the alien jetpack is not added to the torso. Unlike you though, none of my resources are used, which implies that the jetpack wasn't made. I decided to experiment. I crafted a second Ultracite torso. Then I tried to modify it by adding the alien jetpack to it. Same results. The regular jetpack was added to the second torso instead of the alien jetpack, PLUS, no resources were used to add a jetpack to the second torso.

Weird.

I may have read somewhere that the plan needs to be found. But, the ability to show it as craftable at the power armor bench is def a glitch.
