on the positive side fallout 76 has made a come back so maybe its time nuclear winter makes a come back as well.
its that age old story of you don't know what you have until its gone, would be great to see how all the new players to fallout 76 enjoy it.
All things considered, the mode was fine. However, the mode in a game not designed for PvP was what made it just not fun to play. You either camped in a bush, got killed by someone camping in a bush, had teammates jumping in spot to afk farm it, or people just teamed up and steam rolled the map. I had my fun with it, but it was nothing more than a distraction from the main game.
Everything else was accurate. This is just nonsense.
I completed every season and never set foot into NW.
Because when the seasons first launched, people were panicked by the nuclear winter dailies as in "God I have to play this mode?" The thought process (Not mine.) was it was trying to force people INTO the mode, to actually get it some traffic. Hence, force people to do nuclear winter dailies.
i do agree that the hiding in bushs thing and the 1 death after 15 minutes of waiting to get into combat was part of the failure.
that is why i suggest a death match type or team deathmatch repawn , similar to daily ops
but where players fight each other, when you die you respawn after 5 or 10 seconds at a random location around the map, giving the pvp combat more dynamic and fast paced enjoyment for players, add a few mob boss spawns while players pvp that rip through people will add even more enjoyment to the element.
