Can I visit and enjoy Atlantic City without expeditions?

No. maybe in "PaRt 2" of this terrible update. Leave a review, this game is lacking in story content and gives us more daily grinds might as well be called DailyGrind 76 at this point... im not impressed with this update so far.

gambling is actually not avaible in several countrys.. esp Belgium and Poland :p
Questline and bit of exploration of Atlantic city is going to be added in "spring 2024" or next update after that one

yah expedition are like raids i don't know where the raid part is but if you say it enough ppl will believe you, well todd teach
the only thing in line with raiding in expedition is the time gating loot drops.
raids taking 10 minutes too is kinda funny to think about

theres some incredible speed running in 76 raid scene lol

If the first quest is anything to go by "enjoy" is not a thing.

Don't even try it if you don't have some serious armor and firepower.

Yeah, no. You can solo expeditions half asleep, there's nothing raid-like in them.

I just wonder why they don't use loved locations of the franchise like the oil rig, raven rock, new vegas, and many other places for these expeditions, i tried both of them today, nothing cool, the map is extremly bland and the casino is a joke compared to new vegas casinos, i liked the pitt way more even if it didn't feel like fallout 3 pitt for me.

It would be mindless grinding anyway but at least i could see the places many loved and still love with a new graphic, even if they didn't really reproduce the pitt atmosphere too well.

At the end i belive that normal content would be way better, even better if the world changed based on the most common choice made by the playerbase for the same quest.
I'm still mad that the enclave has no content in the only fallout game where you can join the enclave.

Intended to be challenging, endgame content, Vault raids were special instanced dungeons recommended for higher-level teams of four players.

expeditions are literally same type of content as previous Vault Raids and are, or at least supposed to be "challenging end game content". plus i saw several vids with players killing sbq or earl solo, under a minute

Yeah the only reason I go on Expos is to take in the different atmosphere. Expos capture that FO vibe better than Appalachia does. It's a shame that its always the same "mission" on expos, or more or less the same.

If you can't solo them, you can't solo them. I do all the time, it just takes a while, which for me is fine because I prefer playing solo anyway. I'm level 375 at the moment, so keep that in mind. And NO, end game does not happen before level 300 when you get your final legendary perk slot.

Yea I read that and was like "uhhhh..."

Since just now I decided to head on over to see what this Atlanta looks like, and walked out the door while laying waste to these new plant ghouls and gangster eagles being like "huh... was I supposed to have a team for this?"

Just using my 1 star plasma caster, and non-build perk set up

But yea I'm level 300 so.

Nope.

Closest thing you get is the new shelter bundle added to atom store - that you have to buy. And then buy more stuff to put in it.

On the PTS you could start the Greatest Show expo and cross over to the Casino via a door near the Vertibird. This would allow free roam of that area.

Haven't tried live but did notice it wasn't working the other way, from Casino to Boardwalk.
