If you have multiple camps and swap between them, you must have a freezer in every active camp. Otherwise, items will decay when you have the freezerless camp up.
I have several characters who never change camps and basically never server hop much. I get on a server with friends and stay there until i log off.
Cooked a bunch of stuff at the same time so it was all 100% fresh. Split it between storing in freezer and on my person. The things on my person using good with salt lasted longer than the things in the freezer that has apparently zero spoilage. Could be some kind of bug i experienced but it has happened more than once now. I think it is a waste of time. I was so excited for it to be what it said it would do.
Damn i totally forgot about this. Several times i will play on server with friends and just click to stay on world where my camp cannot place. Makes sense that this is why I am seeing hugely increased spoilage.
That cake was a godsend.
